COLLECTION Overview

The display of MoFO’s permanent collection is constituted from two distinct sections focusing upon Past∞Present and Present∞Future.

The Past∞Present section will be presented in gallery spaces designed to educate the visitor about the collision of ideas about time and space that occur when art and science meet. Rather than collecting and safe-guarding artifacts for perpetuity, Present∞Future section exemplifies the museum’s mission is to exhibit future objects simultaneously for display and energy collection.

The Present∞Future section will realized through specialized micro-environments referred to as Quantum Containers. Using patented vision technology developed by the Institute for Future Objects (InFO) designed for contemporary smart devices, visitors will be provided with a highly interactive experience that reveals the light of future objects as they time loop (otherwise referred to as FLOTLs). The energy generated as a by-product of these installations will be harnessed and stored at a syncatron-type facility located offsite.

In this way, MoFO’s revolutionary conservation program exceeds the ICOM definition of museums as a non-profit, permanent institution in the service of society and its development, open to the public, which acquires, conserves, researches, communicates and exhibits the tangible and intangible heritage of humanity and its environment for the purposes of education, study and enjoyment.  MoFO will literally deploy the gallery as a “laboratory” to generate, produce and store sustainable energy in order to preserve the future of humankind and the planet.
